Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! Welcome here. This is a little introduction page about the person behind this blog... my name is Sasja, I am nineteen years old and I am from the Netherlands. The username of my blog and instagram, 'Schilderachtig(s)' means 'picturesque' in English if you were wondering!
I grew up on the countryside in a small village so I am used to waking up while hearing the bird songs outside..
I have several hobbies, a lot actually, but I would all label them as creative activities. I like to take pictures, read, write, draw, walk outside, pick flowers and crochet. And more than that.
At the moment the main focus is taking pictures. I really love to do that, and I often ask people if they would like to be in front of my camera as photographing people in nature is my favorite thing to do.
When I was a little girl I used to write many stories in little notebooks, and one of my favorite little trips was visiting the local library on thursday evenings to get some books to read. I still read books and write sometimes, but not as often as I used to. Which is okay I think!
I still would like to publish a novel someday, though.
When I was fifteen years old my focus in creativity went from writing to photographing. This is, at the moment, one of my favorite things to do. In 2017 my sister taught me how to crochet and I am happy to be a crochet designer for the French wool company Fonty.
On this blog I will post about these things that I love, and still love, to do. I will post my writings here, my photographs and crochet patterns. My biggest inspiration for all of these things is the lovely nature which is picturesquely made by our heavenly Father.
